Overrides outrank solar and the peak window. They all expire — there is deliberately no permanent option.
Pre-cool on solar
Bank the afternoon surplus as cold: while this is on, the AC holds the target below whenever solar covers enough of its draw, and hands the thermostats back when the sun stops paying, peak pricing nears, or the time runs out. It never runs during the peak window. Start it now, or schedule it the night before — nothing is touched until the start time.
Room changes apply to the current session (running or scheduled) immediately — unchecking every room ends it.
Smart plugs
Give a plug an auto-off timer, have it follow another plug (a printer's filter), or let it heat on solar surplus. What you set here replaces that plug's behaviors from the controller's config; “Use config” puts them back. Switching a plug by hand in the Kasa app is always respected.
